Great to hear talks from Dacorum Council, Ordnance Survey and Public Health in Hertfordshire. The lessons I took away were:

  • Research in partnership with other Local Authorities. Requires time to manage the partnership, but does deliver stronger research with comparative figures.
  • How to work across an organisation through training, support and the development of tools to be used. Including promoting the use of common terms and language.
  • The need and value to look at what you do and be prepared to change it to give people what they need.
  • Share and promote what works e.g. https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/business-and-government/case-studies/

Many thanks to Dacorum Council for hosting.
