SUMMARY:Census Applications:  Using the UK’s population census data
DESCRIPTION:16 – 17 July 2015 \nHumanities Bridgeford Street Building\, University of Manchester \nNow that nearly all census outputs are out and being used the UK Data Service are hosting a two-day conference to celebrate the UK censuses. \nThe conference will include three plenary sessions: \n\nThe value of the Census\nMaking use of the Census\nChallenges for the future\n\nSpeakers include: \n\nDanny Dorling and Bethan Thomas\nIan Cope\nKeith Dugmore\nOffice for National Statistics\, National Records of Scotland and Northern Ireland Census Offices\n\nGeneral conference places will cost £100 per person to include drinks\, lunch and conference dinner. Student places are available at £50 per person. \nResidential accommodation should be booked separately.
