Coventry City Council is looking for a highly skilled Intelligence Manager with substantial experience in local authorities, the health service, academia or related fields to lead the Insight (Intelligence and Performance) function.

This exciting role provides an opportunity to take the delivery of intelligence in new directions, and will attract a forward thinking innovator. You will be able to build upon the existing achievements of the team, which have received regional and national recognition. The team is involved in high-profile work including collaborations with world-leading universities and the newly formed West Midlands Combined Authority. We are particularly keen to hear from you if your unique skill-sets can shape the team to achieve new heights.

You will have a track record in problem solving, effectively using data to establish and monitor outcomes and targeting resources in a way which maximises efficiency and effectiveness. You will also be a strong communicator, able to explain and present complex data to a wide range of audiences, including elected Members, senior managers and partner organisations.

You will be innovative and self-motivated to lead and must have extensive management and leadership experience of intelligence services.
