Congratulations to the London Borough of Southwark and ESRO (both LARIA Corporate members) who have won the Market Research Society (MRS) award for Public Policy/Social Research 2013. It’s a third win for ESRO in four years at the MRS awards in this category.

The winning entry, Strength in Numbers: Helping a Council Count the Uncountable, used a mixed-method approach to find out more about Southwark’s migrant populations. This helped address concerns about the census and helped develop council policies into overcrowding, child protection, and exploitation.
